Terms that keep every Tavlixos order inquiry-only until we confirm your model

Effective date

These terms took effect on September 24, 2026 and apply to every inquiry sent from that date forward. An inquiry sent before that date is covered by whichever version of these terms was posted when it was sent.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Tavlixos, trading at tavlixos.com, of 77 Industrial Blvd, Büro 5, Austin, Texas 16719, United States. Tavlixos has run since 2014 and currently operates with six people covering the counter, fitting checks, stock, inquiries, and packing.

What this site provides, and what it does not

Tavlixos publishes a catalog of the parts and consumables that animal-care equipment wears out: clipper blades and comb guides, grooming table and tub hardware, crate and kennel replacement hardware, aquarium and terrarium consumables, leash and collar hardware, and feeding and watering parts. Each category page describes the fitting standard that matters for that part and lets you send an inquiry describing your model or task.

This site does not sell whole machines, display units, or anything that would need a warranty card and an owner's manual, and it never will; that is outside what Tavlixos stocks or checks fit for. It does not process payment on the site, and it does not run a cart.

Inquiry only: how a figure becomes an order

Nothing is sold and no payment is taken on tavlixos.com. Every price shown on a category page, in the configurator, or in a reply to your inquiry is an estimated basis, not a binding quote, until someone at Tavlixos checks the part against the model or task you described and writes back to confirm fit, a firm price, and a ship date. An order exists only once that written confirmation happens; sending an inquiry, using the configurator, or receiving an automated acknowledgment does not by itself create an order.

If a part will not fit the model you described, we say so in that reply instead of shipping it and letting you find out. You are free to walk away from any quoted figure before you confirm it.

How anything is priced

Every figure on this site is in United States dollars. The basis for a part's price is the "estimated basis from" amount shown on its category page, for example the size 10 snap-on blade's basis from $28 per blade; the amount you are actually asked to pay depends on quantity, the turnaround you choose, and confirmation that the part fits your equipment. Rush turnaround carries a surcharge that is estimated on the page and confirmed in writing before it is charged; it is never presented on the site as a fixed final number. We do not change a confirmed price after you have accepted it in writing, but an unconfirmed estimate can change if the model you describe turns out to need a different part.

Acceptable use

You may not scrape or automate bulk collection of the catalog's prices or fitting data, submit an inquiry with false model information intending to force a mis-fit shipment, attempt to interfere with the configurator, chat, or inquiry form, or use either form to send anything unlawful, threatening, or intended to defraud the business or another visitor. We can refuse an inquiry that plainly breaks any of this.

Ownership of the site's content

The photographs, written descriptions, fitting notes, the Tavlixos name, and the logo marks on this site belong to Tavlixos. You may quote a short passage with credit; you may not republish a category page, a photograph, or the fitting tables as your own, or use the Tavlixos name to suggest an affiliation that does not exist.

Provided as is

The catalog, the configurator's fit notes, and the site itself are provided as is. We do not warrant that a fitting note on a category page will match every variant of every model ever made; measurements drift between manufacturers and production runs, which is exactly why we check the model against real stock before confirming an order rather than shipping on the strength of a web page alone. We do not claim a certification we were not given, and no statement on this site should be read as one.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law of Texas allows, Tavlixos's liability arising from your use of this site or from a confirmed order is limited to the amount you actually paid for the part in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including the cost of a repair delayed while a part is confirmed, except where that limitation cannot lawfully apply.

Refusing or withdrawing access

We can decline an inquiry, close the chat widget on an account, or refuse further access to anyone breaching clause six, sending fraudulent model information, or abusing the inquiry or chat channels. Declining an inquiry does not affect an order already confirmed in writing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and a dispute arising from them is heard in the courts of Austin, Texas. This does not remove any right a consumer has under mandatory law in their own state or country of residence.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here with an updated effective date and version number at the top of this document. An inquiry sent after that date is covered by the new version. We do not apply a changed term retroactively to an order already confirmed in writing.
